In the latest list of the world's most powerful person, Hu Zintao the President of the Republic of China has pipped U.S President Barack Obama as the most powerful person on the planet. This is the latest in a series of events, where the world is seeing significant events making China as an able alternate to America, economically as well as politically.

After becoming the second biggest economy of the world, China is also the biggest country for auto sales.
Although, the fall of Obama from his top position is more of a personal fall than that of America as a nation , as he is still the undisputed leader of the world's most powerful army, and it doesn't make the U.S second to China in terms of importance and preeminence. However, these are the signs of the time to come. Perhaps, we are already living in that transitory period where the global dominance of America is about to come to an end. Will the world move from a unipolar to a bipolar or multipolar world is a question which will be answered in the near future.
